26. The Years of 'Not My People' : By Grace

This is the period in which God is refusing to acknowledge that ten of the tribes of The Whole House of Israel are ‘Lo-ammi’….."for ye are not My People and I will not be your God." This condition prevails to-day in the 21st century and will not be reversed until the time comes when God will establish The Kingdom of Heaven in the land of Palestine.

According to the Scripture, God made them 'Not my people' in the days of Hezekiah, King of Judah and Jeroboam, son of Joash, king of Israel. when the following statement was recorded by the prophet Hosea in ch.1 verse 8:

Now when Gomer had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son. Then said God, Call his name Lo-ammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God. [This name symbolises the destruction of the dynasty of Jehu, king of Ephraim-Israel.]

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God. Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the earth [Ezekiel ch.37. Both v.1 to 14 and v.15 to 28]: for great shall be the day of Jezreel. [Hosea 1:9-11]

[The valley of Jezreel is the place where Jehu seized the throne of Ephraim-Israel. It is probably the place where this statement of God was made before them and will therefore also be the place where 'it shall come to pass that in the place where it was said to them: ‘You are not my people’, there it shall be said to them: You are the Sons of The Living God’].

This Lo-AMMI condition upon the Children of Israel [The House of Ephraim] began around the year 770 bc, and the statement by God: 'Ye are the Sons of The Living God' reversing the condition will be made in the future when God again seeks to establish The Kingdom in Israel, in The Last Days. This condition of Lo-AMMI is a time when these ten tribes are scattered in the World [Deut 4:27, Hosea 1:9, Joel 3:1-3] for a purpose of God yet to be revealed.
The Christ told the story of The Prodigal Son explaining this condition of separation:

Jesus Christ said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

The number associated with this condition of separation is 40, by which the chief example is the separation and testing of The Christ when, being in the wilderness for 40 days, His faith was tested by Satan himself.
The duration of the LO-AMMI condition

In order to calculate the time span of this condition imposed upon The House of Ephraim, we need to know (1) the date upon which the pronouncement was made and (2) the date upon which it will be ended.

There are two main sources upon which we can draw to determine the start date, that of Bishop Ussher and that of Dr. Bullinger. The former gives the date as: 785bc., the latter: 683bc [allowing 6years from 689bc to the birth of the third child named Lo-AMMI]. These dates differ radically forcing us to consider another basis upon which we can make a true assessment.
In order to discover the end date we must first determine the date when God again takes up the affairs of Israel. In other By Grace leaflets Nos.9 & 10, this question has been considered in some depth. The Godly affairs of Israel cannot again begin until God reverses His condemnation of Spiritual blindness and deafness upon the two tribes, Judah and Benjamin [the House of Judah]. This will occur during the year 2022ad, fourteen years, or two shemittahs, before Israel's 71st Jubilee in 2036ad.[Isaiah 35:4-5]

During the study of God's action in gathering [Heb: qabats] The Tribes of Israel, it becomes clear that the two tribes of the House of Judah-Israel have priority, being gathered some time before the other ten tribes of the House of Ephraim-Israel.

During the 14years [two Shemittahs of 7years] between God's reversal of the Spiritual blindness and deafness* of Judah in 2022ad and the 71st Jubilee in 2036ad, there is much time for God to perform the gathering of the remaining ten tribes [The House of Ephraim-Israel].

Having determined the date upon which The House of Judah will again have Spiritual sight and hearing at the end of The Last Days in 2022ad, we must allow a period following the resurrection of The Whole House of Israel by 2029ad. This allows a further 7years before the celebration at the time of the 71st Jubilee.

As a starting point, we should acknowledge that the dates upon which this LO-AMMI condition began could have been those determined by Ethelbert Bullinger or Bishop Ussher.

The total years estimated by Ethelbert Bullinger and Bishop Ussher

Bullinger....683bc - 1(allowance for change from bc to ad) + 2029ad = 2711years
Ussher........785bc - 1(allowance for change from bc to ad) + 2029ad = 2813years
Examples in Scripture show that the number 40 is a factor of the time periods associated with separation and testing. Dividing the two periods, each by 40 will indicate another factor of importance by which God will have determined this length of time.

Bullinger..........2711 divided by 40 = 67 with 21years remaining
Ussher...….......2813 divided by 40 = 70 with 13years remaining

From many Scripture examples, it has been found that 70 bears the significance of 7 and 10 in an intensified form. 'Hence 7 x 10 signifies perfect Spiritual order carried out with all Spiritual power and significance. Both Spirit and Order are greatly emphasised.'

Thus 40 x 70 is Intense Spiritual Order[70] in the Separation and Testing[40] of The House of Ephraim-Israel.

When multiplying these factors of years the result is 2800 years.

It appears that Bishop Ussher's timing of 2813 years is the nearest to this Scripturally factored period during which God no longer accepted the ten tribe House of Ephraim-Israel as His people, calling them LO-AMMI, “You are Not my People and I will not be your God."

From the date of 2029ad when we estimate that God will reverse this condition by His pronouncement: ''You are My People", we can now recognise the date upon which God told Hosea the prophet:

For the children of [Ephraim-]Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in The Last Days. [Hosea 3:4]

This date is: 2800 - 2029 + 1 [adjustment bc to ad] = 772 bc.

Adjustment relating to the year of The Christ’s birth in 4bc.

In order to arrive at this conclusion, it was assumed that one shemittah, 7years, would pass before the LO-AMMI condition was reversed in 2029ad.

Previous studies have shown that the year of The Christ’s birth in 4bc acts as a critical date when determining other spans of time in which God acts.

Therefore this understanding should be applied as a final check.:
A. The factors of the time span of 768 years between 772bc and 4bc, the date of the birth of The Christ, were considered:

The factors of 768 are 8 . 8 . 12

having a meaning of enhanced resurrection or regeneration [8] under government perfection.

B. But, should the date when God again accepts Ephraim Israel as His People be 2027ad, not 2029ad, then the date of separation as ‘Not My People’ would be 774bc. This would mean that 770years were to pass until the birth of The Christ.

The factors of 770 are 2 . 5 . 7 . 11 OR 70 . 11

indicating that God, acting in Grace[5], imposed division[2] making The Whole House of Israel incomplete[11] in order to attain Spiritual perfection[7]

C. The remainder of the time, if having accepted 770years, is 2030 years from the birth of Christ to the reversal of the LO-AMMI condition..

The factors of 2030 are 29 . 2 . 5 . 7 OR 70 . 29

The remaining years of expectancy and judgemant[29] under division[2] by God's Grace[5] results in completeness and perfection[7].

The meaning associated with the 770 years carries more conviction in relation to the circumstances of The House of Ephraim-Israel, particularly when considering the factors of the residual years of 2030. The conclusion therefore must be that God's declaration ‘Ye are the sons of the living God’ will be made in the year 2027ad, two years before 2029ad at which time God declares ‘Arise Shine for thy light is come and The Glory of The Lord is risen upon thee’, thus fulfilling Hosea's prophesy:

The LO-AMMI condition of the House of Ephraim-Israel will last for 70 x 40 years = 2800yrs. This figure is founded upon two facts:
1. The period is a multiple of 40 Isolation and testing.
2. The period is a multiple of 70 . An act of God according to His order.

The period could therefore end in either 2029ad at the end of the first Shemittah of 7years from the time that The House of Judah is again given Spiritual sight and hearing in 2022ad, when the Last Days re-commence,
OR
2027ad, as shown on the chart, when the factors of the period up to, and from, the birth of The Christ give good reason for it to be more acceptable. This prepares for the year 2029ad when the Whole House of Israel will be resurrected prior to the time of the 71st Jubilee in 2036ad, when the resurrected King David will command the restoration and re-building of Jerusalem, which follows the first seven weeks, or forty-nine years, of Daniel’s prophecy of the seventy weeks[490 years]

Hosea tells us what the order of events will be when God announces to Ephraim-Israel that they are again ‘The Sons of The Living God’ :

Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the earth: for great shall be the Day of Jezreel [Hos 1:11]

The Spiritual deafness and blindness of The House of Judah was pronounced by the Apostle Paul in the year 62ad. This is recorded in Acts 28:26-28.

From the beginning of this condemnation in 62ad to the time of its reversal [Isaiah 35:4-5] in 2022ad is 1960years. The length of this period is accepted upon consideration of its factors: 40 x 49 i.e. 40 Jubilees. There is no doubt that the forty-nine years between Jubilees is the most important yardstick by which the affairs of Israel are measured.

There is also no doubt that the last 2780 years have been a testing time for the ten tribes of Ephraim–Israel. As with many other examples, the factors of 40 together with that of 49, in the 1960 years of this Administration of God’s Grace, convinces us that:

In 2022ad the condemnation of Spiritual blindness and deafness upon the House of Judah-Israel will end. [See By Grace No:27]

In 2027ad The House of Israel will again become God’s people, no longer LO-AMMI. The Whole House of Israel will be acknowledged as God’s people. The whole house of Israel resurrected, fulfilling God’s command: Arise, Shine; for thy Light Is come, and the glory of The Lord is risen upon thee. [See By Grace No: 35]

In 2029ad The Evil Day. The Sanctifying Spirit poured out upon Israel. Evil spirits come in like a flood.

In 2036ad the resurrected King David will take his throne and will announce, by The Word, that Jerusalem will be rebuilt. Following this the remaining sixty-three weeks of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy will end with the Second Advent of The Lord Jesus Christ. [See By Grace Nos:25 and 60]
